Image Reference Not Working

I have always had my ‘Add Image Reference to Anki Cards’ button turned on. I’m a 2nd Year Medical Student so I’m always making flashcards and I love how it references the slides I use when generating my flashcards.

But now, every time I turn the ‘Add Image Reference to Anki Cards’ button on, it never adds the slides it takes the information that the flashcard is generated from.

I constantly need flashcards from Memo so it’s so frustrating having to constantly generate flashcards and not have it working especially when it was working PERFECTLY last year.

Please fix this or if there’s something wrong on my end please do let me know.

    I’ve confirmed a separate generation issue: some PDF flashcards have a source reference but no page number, which prevents Memo from locating the slide image. The export fix does not restore those missing page references.

    I’m tracing this through the flashcard generation step. This report remains open; I haven’t changed your existing cards.

    I've released a fix for missing source images in Anki exports. The export now includes the referenced images in the file and keeps them visible when the notebook name is hidden.

    If the images are missing in Anki, please reload Memo and export the existing flashcards again with image references enabled; you don't need to regenerate them. If they are already missing inside Memo, this export fix may not address your case. Please send the notebook link and one affected card through support so I can check that separately.

    Whenever I generate the flashcards, they don’t have the slide references added to flashcards even though my settings are turned on.
