Language is universal across Studio and Chat

When you change Output Language in any Studio customize dialog, that updates your default output language across all Studio generations and your Copilot Chat panel.
If you leave it on Auto, Memo detects the source language automatically.

Quick generate vs Customize

  • Click a Studio tile to generate with default settings.

  • Click the pencil (Edit) icon on a tile to open customization.

  • The pencil appears when sources are available and generation is not in progress.

How to generate

  1. Open your deck and go to Studio.

  2. Click Flashcards for a quick generation.

  3. Wait for generation to finish, then open the new flashcard set from Studio outputs.

How to customize

  1. Click the pencil on the Flashcards tile.

  2. Choose Card Type: Basic, Quiz (MCQ), or Cloze.

  3. Choose Amount: Comprehensive, Fewer, Standard, or More.

  4. Choose Difficulty: Easy, Medium, or Hard.

  5. Set Output Language.

  6. Add Custom Instructions (optional).

  7. Click Generate.
