Memo helps you turn your own sources into study and knowledge outputs. This guide walks through the basic workflow.
1. Create or open a deck
A deck is the workspace where your sources, generated outputs, flashcards, and review sessions live.
2. Add sources
Open the deck and use the Sources panel to add PDFs, images, YouTube videos, website URLs, or pasted text. Wait until each source shows Ready.
3. Select the sources you want to use
You do not need to use every source for every run. Select only the readings, lecture, or notes you want Memo to use before generating Studio outputs or asking Copilot.
4. Generate in Studio
Open Studio to create flashcards, notes, mindmaps, tracks, practice tests, tutor sessions, infographics, or podcasts. Click a tile to use defaults, or click the pencil icon to customize the run.
5. Study and iterate
Open generated flashcard sets in Learn Mode or Cram. Reopen Studio outputs from history, rename them, delete older runs, or generate again with a different source selection.
6. Export when needed
Flashcards can be exported to supported flashcard formats such as Anki, text, or PDF. Notes can be exported as Markdown or PDF.
