Memo settings are split into account, subscription, usage, and configuration sections. Use this guide when you are not sure where a setting lives.
Profile
Use profile settings for account details and authentication-related options.
Subscription
Use Settings β Subscription to view your current plan, compare available options, open billing management, or change plan when available.
Usage
Use Settings β Usage to see your current energy balance, reset timing, and action/model costs.
Configuration
Configuration is where you customize Memo behavior:
General: app-wide preferences such as theme and common defaults.
Flashcard Display: what appears on flashcards and in exports.
Memo AI: AI-related preferences.
Scheduling: FSRS and review scheduling preferences.
Accessibility: visual and interaction settings that make Memo easier to use.
Mobile layout
On smaller screens, settings may appear as a hub list instead of desktop side tabs. The same sections are available, but the navigation is optimized for mobile.
When settings apply
Many settings autosave after you change them. Some settings affect future exports or future generation runs, while existing outputs may keep the settings they were created with.
